IPv6 Subnet Splitter

Divide an IPv6 prefix into equal child prefixes by target prefix length or by number of subnets.

This tool handles input and primary processing in your browser and is designed not to send the input to QuickKit’s server.

How it works

Common practice: a site gets a /48 and splits it into /56s or /64s; an ISP splits an allocation into customer /48s or /56s. Choose a target prefix, or a number of subnets from 1 to 1,024 (rounded up to the next power of two). Output is limited to 1,024 subnets in either mode.
